Different artists from all around the Metro came together as Manila Design Week ’09 was held last August 8 to 15. The event aimed to promote the collaboration of artists in a weeklong lineup of events, each day showcasing a different theme.

In their aim of promoting the graphic arts, CIIT joined Future Design, a t-shirt design contest, last August 11 that gathered all the young artists from the top colleges and universities in the country. With the theme “Message from the Future”, the event gave the youth a platform to express their views on what the future generation might have to say to us.

CIIT’s Remster Bautista, a freshman Computer Graphics Design student, won first runner up. He won a lomo camera and his design will be produced and sold in Team Manila stores.
